*ALIANZAS DE PHOENIXVILLE

$5,000 General Operating Support 

Enhances the Latino/Hispanic Community with improved access to local resources, advocacy and intercultural communication between Latino/Hispanic and the broader community. The grant supports the provision of vital services to Latinas in the larger Phoenixville community, with a special emphasis on reaching and serving Latina women and their children who struggle with isolation, poverty, language barriers and exploitation by landlords and employees.

BRIDGE OF HOPE

$15,000 General Operating Support

Assists single mothers, with dependent children, experiencing homelessness to secure permanent housing, stability and access to resources. The grant ensures that homeless single mothers in Chester County obtain permanent housing and become stronger women with more hopeful futures.

*COATESVILLE YOUTH INITIATIVE

$15,000 Program Support | 2016 Summer ServiceCorps

Contributes to a vibrant future for Coatesville by engaging youth in experiences that support their success in school and in life, and by uniting a wide range of partners to make their community better for everyone. The grant supports the Summer ServiceCorps program which helps underserved young women in Coatesville plan brighter, more positive futures for themselves, and help end cycles of generational poverty and underemployment. 

THE GARAGE YOUTH AND COMMUNITY CENTER

$7,500 Program Support

$5,000 GAB Grant

After-School Program for Girls

Empowers youth to pursue their potential academically, relationally and spiritually. Both grants propel the After-School Girls Program which directly impacts girls' ability to graduate from high school and aims to break the cycle of poverty.

MOM'S HOUSE

$10,000 General Operating Support

Offers families a unique support system of basic needs, including free childcare for single, low-income parents while they are completing their full-time education and becoming independent members of society. The grant empowers low-income single mothers to reach their educational goals and better provide for their families in the future. 

OPEN HEARTH

$11,000 Program Support | Family Saving Partner-Program

Provides innovative programs to help people in Chester County and portions of Montgomery County end the cycle of homelessness and achieve financial self-sufficiency. The grant enables the Family Savings Program, which helps women become financially viable as they plan for their future.
