Each year, Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital provides approximately 150 breast cancer patients with life-saving chemotherapy, radiation, and drug therapy. An abundance of research has shown that integrating complementary therapy with mainstream medicine can help lessen the physical and emotional symptoms experienced during treatment and recovery and can significantly increase quality of life, reduce pain, restore energy, and empower patients to take control of their own well-being.
